If you've got a midsize crossover in mind for your next automotive purchase, we at Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise have a funny feeling you may well meet your match in ours, the 2016 Ford Edge.

So, with that in mind, we'd like to now turn things over to Autotrader critic, Jabari Jones. His evaluation of the Edge is as follows:

While it'd be wrong to describe the Edge's entry-level engine -- a 245-horsepower turbo-four -- as "sluggish," it admittedly pales in comparison to the one offered with the range-topping Sport trim.

This turbocharged 2.7-liter V6, served up standard with all-wheel drive, is good for a goliath 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Fast and fun, the Sport model is sure to be a popular pick among performance enthusiasts.

For more information about this handsome utility hauler, or to take the wheel of one, we invite you to swing by our Boise, ID showroom. Our seasoned staff is available to address your every question regarding the Edge, or any other Ford model throughout the current fleet.
